New Guidelines for Foreign Talent Dispatch Industry Announced

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has announced new guidelines for foreign talent dispatch businesses. These guidelines provide detailed directives on proper employment management of foreign workers, verification obligations for residency status, and systems for providing Japanese language education. Notably, the establishment of acceptance systems for foreign talent at client companies and regular follow-up implementation by dispatch agencies are specified as important matters. The guidelines are scheduled to take effect from April 1, 2025, with a six-month transition period for businesses.
